Diamondbacks' Arroyo should be ready for Opening Day

Bronson Arroyo could feature in the Arizona Diamondbacks rotation on Opening Day, according to Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe.
Despite undergoing Tommy John surgery in July, Arroyo's agent says the 37-year-old is responding well and should be ready for the start of the season.
After tossing at least 199 innings in nine consecutive seasons, Arroyo was limited to 86 in his first year with the Diamondbacks. The right-hander complained of arm soreness before landing on the disabled list for the first time in his career in June.
Arroyo, who agreed to a two-year, $23.5-million deal in February, was 7-4 with a 4.08 ERA in 14 starts in 2014.
