Tim Hudson on Game 3: 'There is nobody on the field (that's) going to be more ready than I am'
Lance Iversen / USA TODAY Sports
The San Francisco Giants will turn to Tim Hudson to give them an edge in Game 3 of the World Series on Friday night, and the 39-year-old is ready for his first career Fall Classic start.
The right-hander will be making his 12th career postseason start, but none of those compare to the pressure he'll face Friday. Regardless, Hudson assured the media he's physically and mentally ready to pitch the biggest game of his life.
Hudson also revealed he isn't worried about the team being demoralized by Wednesday's Game 2 loss because of an inspirational character in the locker room.
The Royals will counter with Jeremy Guthrie, who is also making his first career World Series start, in an attempt to take a 2-1 series lead.
