Tigers general manager Dave Dombrowski was non-committal with regards to re-signing Hunter this winter, the Detroit Free Press reports.
Analysis:
Now 39, Hunter is planning on playing in 2015 with the hope of making a push for a World Series title. The Tigers have made finding a new center fielder their top priority, while re-signing Victor Martinez is also on Dombrowski's wish list, which may ultimately leave Hunter as the odd-man out with regards to the team's 2015 plans after he hit .286/.319/.446 with 17 homers and 83 RBI in 142 games in 2014.
