The Kansas City Royals have jumped out to a 4-0 lead after getting to Baltimore Orioles right-hander Chris Tillman in the top of the third inning.
Alcides Escobar got the Royals on the board with a solo blast, then Kansas City cashed in three more runs later in the inning when Alex Gordon lifted a broken-bat bases-clearing double down the right field line.
Gordon, a three-time Gold Glover, also got it done with his glove in the bottom half of the inning to kill an Orioles rally.
