Dodgers' Ryu throws simulated game with 'no problems,' will be examined Thursday
Los Angeles Dodgers left-hander Hyun-Jin Ryu appears increasingly likely to take the mound for Game 3 of the National League Division Series. Ryu completed a 45-pitch simulated game Wednesday, reports Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times.
#Dodgers say Ryu threw 45-pitch simulated game w/"no problems before, during or after with his shoulder." He'll be examined tomorrow.

Ryu missed the last three weeks of the regular season with inflammation in his left shoulder, a condition that plagued him earlier in the campaign. However, the 27-year-old said last month he's "pretty confident" he'll be ready in time for the postseason.
If Ryu is cleared to rejoin the rotation, he likely slots in behind Clayton Kershaw and Zack Greinke, who are expected to start the first two games of the NLDS against the St. Louis Cardinals.
