Jason Kipnis: Season Over
Kipnis will not play in Sunday's season finale, MLB.com's Jordan Bastian reports.
Analysis:
Kipnis' playing time has been limited of late due to lingering soreness in his hamstring, so manager Terry Francona decided to hold him both Saturday and Sunday for precautionary reasons. The hamstring injury will almost certainly not carry over to next season, but fantasy owners will be hoping Kipnis can do a better job staying on the field, as he was limited to just 129 games during the 2014 campaign.
