The Texas Rangers reportedly like what they see with interim manager Tim Bogar.
Bogar took over managerial duties following Ron Washington's shocking decision to resign earlier in the month as a result of "not being true to his wife." In 14 games under Bogar, the Rangers are 8-6, including a seven-game winning streak that was snapped by the Los Angeles Angels on Saturday.
The 47-year-old joined the Rangers as their bench coach prior to this season and has spent time with both the Boston Red Sox as a first and third base coach and Tampa Bay Rays as a coaching assistant. Bogar has also been named manager of the year in three different minor league levels.
