Toronto Blue Jays right-hander Marcus Stroman will have one less game to be bothered about, as his six-game suspension has been reduced to five.

Stroman dropped his appeal after he was handed the initial suspension on Wednesday for throwing behind the head of Baltimore Orioles catcher Caleb Joseph two days earlier. The 23-year-old was apologetic following the incident, claiming that he did not intentionally throw at Joseph.
Stroman was allowed to pitch Saturday while his appeal was being processed and picked up his 11th victory of the year - allowing two runs off eight hits in six innings against the New York Yankees.
