Weaver's next start has been rescheduled for Saturday against the Rangers, MLB.com's Alden Gonzalez reports.
Analysis:
Weaver was scratched from Thursday's start to get a bit of extra rest, as the Angels clinched an AL West title Wednesday, and manager Mike Scioscia was simply rewarding some of his key contributors. Weaver will take the hill Saturday, however, with his next start scheduled for the following Friday. After that, the plan for the Angels' veteran is to start Game 1 of the ALDS.
