Giants' Hudson shelled for 6 runs early by Dodgers, relieved by Lincecum

The Dodgers touched up the sinkerballer for eight hits in the frame, making it one of the most miserable outings of his illustrious career.
This is Tim Hudson's shortest outing (1-plus innings) in 455 career regular-season starts. Previous shortest was 1.2 IP in 2000 w/Oakland.

Hudson's dud comes one night after Dodgers lefty Hyun-jin Ryu was shelled for four runs on five hits, resulting in his exit from the game after one inning, albeit due to a shoulder injury.
The Giants entered play Saturday night only one game behind the Dodgers for the National League West lead.
