Miami Marlins center fielder Marcell Ozuna almost took out New York Mets third base coach Tim Teufel with a throw on Monday.

What's embarrassing for Ozuna is the fact that he was trying to throw to home plate.

David Wright hit a bases-loaded single up the middle, driving in a run. Ozuna attempted to nail Juan Lagares at the plate, but his errant throw landed in the Marlins' dugout, allowing Curtis Granderson to score all the way from first.

Adding insult to injury, pitcher Henderson Alvarez departed on the play with a strained oblique.
