VIDEO: Olympic vaulter McKayla Maroney throws unorthodox 1st pitch at White Sox game
John Durr / USA Today Sports
Olympic vaulter McKayla Maroney, who captured a gold and silver medal at the 2012 Olympic Summer Games, was on hand to throw out the first pitch prior to Friday's clash between the Minnesota Twins and Chicago White Sox at U.S. Cellular Field.
Her approach to the plate was unorthodox, to say the least.
Her shortened throw was much more accurate than rapper 50 Cent's pathetic first pitch earlier this season, however.
