The Philadelphia Phillies might have trouble moving outfielder Marlon Byrd before Thursday afternoon's non-waiver trade deadline, as the club's asking price for the 36-year-old is thought to be "extremely high," according to CBS Sports' Jon Heyman.

Byrd is reportedly drawing interest from several clubs, including the Seattle Mariners, New York Yankees, and Kansas City Royals, but the veteran's $8-million salary for 2015 - and vesting option for the following season - reportedly "gives some teams pause."

Byrd also has a limited no-trade clause that allows him to block trades to four teams - among them, the Mariners and Royals - and said he will only accept a deal to Seattle if the club agrees to exercise his 2016 option.
