A few teams, including the Pittsburgh Pirates, have inquired about the availability of Colorado Rockies right-handed reliever LaTroy Hawkins, but the club plans on keeping the 41-year-old, reports CBS Sports' Jon Heyman.
Hawkins is liked for his reasonable $2.25M club option but also appreciated for the presence he brings to the young clubhouse. Hawkins has saved 17 of 18 games and is 2-2 with a 3.09 ERA, but he's beloved by the Rockies mostly for his intangibles.
You can't put a price on intangibles, kids.
