Hanley Ramirez: (Calf) Mattingly Doesn't Expect DL Stint
Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said Monday that he does not expect Ramirez (calf) to be placed on the disabled list, the Los Angeles Times' Dylan Hernandez reports.
Analysis:
Ramirez missed four straight games with a shoulder injury last week, before returning for Saturday's contest against the Cardinals. He was then held out of Sunday's game due to left calf tightness, and is not in the lineup for Monday's contest versus the Indians. The possibility of a DL stint shouldn't be ruled out, but the Dodgers will likely give Ramirez at least another day or two, before considering a more extended absence.
