Detroit Tigers first baseman Miguel Cabrera has a funny way of greeting his friends. Lucky for Jose Altuve, Cabrera spared him the Adrian Beltre treatment.

For context, the Venezuelan-born Altuve hails from the same city (Maracay) as Miggy. Plus, at 5-foot-6 Altuve is nothing more than a toddler to the super-sized Cabrera (6-foot-4, 240 pounds).
The pregame lift had little effect on the Houston Astros second baseman, who became the third player in the modern era to record four straight games of multi-steal games.
