Altuve swiped two bags early against Max Scherzer to increase his team-leading total to 34 and he now has at least one theft in each of the last five contests, which ties Michael Bourn's club record. It's also the first time since 2009 (B.J. Upton) that a player has stolen multiple bases in three straight games.
The 24-year-old was also the league-leader in hits (111) heading into action Saturday.
