Report: Yankees have reached out to free agent Kendrys Morales

The New York Yankees have reached out to free-agent first baseman Kendrys Morales, CBS Sports' Jon Heyman reports.
The Yankees are anxiously awaiting a diagnosis on Mark Teixeira's right wrist which they should receive from doctors Tuesday, and if they receive bad news Morales appears to be their short-term solution.
Teams have been waiting until after the first day of the MLB draft to make a pitch for Morales so they don't lose a high draft pick.
The Baltimore Orioles, Kansas City Royals and Texas Rangers are also rumored to be in the mix for Morales' services.
