Fractured hand sends Diamondbacks' Pollock to disabled list

The Arizona Diamondbacks placed outfielder A.J. Pollock on the 15-day disabled list on Sunday, less than 24 hours after the 26-year-old fractured his right hand against the Cincinnati Reds.
Gibby, on Pollock's injury: "That's a big blow. He's been playing great, emerging. He's been huge for us. I don't know how else to say it."

Pollock, who was lifted after getting hit by a pitch in the right hand during the eighth inning, is hitting .316/.366/.554 with six home runs and eight stolen bases through 52 games this season.
