Chris Sale: (Arm) Activated From DL

Sale (arm) was officially activated from the DL to start Thursday against the Yankees.

Analysis:

As expected, Sale was activated and will return Thursday after missing more than four weeks with a flexor muscle strain in his left arm. The White Sox will likely play it safe and limit Sale to fewer than 100 pitches against New York, but he fanned 11 over four innings in his lone rehab start and figures to have any restrictions lifted after a start or two.
