Rockies' Rosario to begin minor league rehab assignment Friday

Colorado Rockies catcher Wilin Rosario is one step closer to working his way back to the starting lineup.

Rosario was placed on the disabled list with a viral infection on May 4, and could rejoin the big club early next week.

The 25-year-old was off to a slow start before hitting the DL, hitting .239 with three homers and 15 RBIs in 88 at-bats.
