The words didn't actually come from Latos -- manager Bryan Price relayed the information -- but it sounds like the right-hander has held up well since returning to elevated ground last Sunday. Latos was transferred to the 60-day DL on Thursday, but he wasn't going to be back before the end of May anyway, so it really won't affect his estimated return date. It was simply a procedural move to free up a spot on the 40-man roster.
