Manager Fredi Gonzalez apparently had second thoughts of employing a six-man starting rotation, and with Jordan Walden still on the disabled list, Wood should provide the bullpen with some added versatility. Gonzalez acknowledged Wood would probably be back in the rotation at some point later in the season, but for now, his fantasy value could take a massive hit.
