GIF: Protective cup saves Rays' Price after line drive

Rays left-hander David Price has, presumably, never been more thankful to be wearing a cup than he was Tuesday, when he took a line drive from Joe Mauer off the protective cup guarding his, uh, nether regions.

Though Price emerged from the incident largely unscathed, the concern was still evident in Mauer's face. A former catcher, Mauer has likely been victimized by a ball to the groin far too many times.
