Report: Red Sox' Napoli has dislocated ring finger
Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports / Reuters
The injury sustained by Boston Red Sox first baseman Mike Napoli does not appear to be serious.
The diagnosis is one of the best-case scenarios following his head-first slide into second base in which he jammed his finger Tuesday night.
Napoli is one of the few Red Sox not struggling early with the stick, batting .302 with three home runs and nine RBIs in 13 games.
