The Rockies reportedly augmented their infield depth on Monday, signing veteran shortstop Paul Janish to a minor-league deal, according to Jon Heyman of CBS Sports.
The 31-year-old appeared in 55 games with the Braves last season, logging time at three different infield positions. Janish posted an anemic .171/.222/.220 line over 45 plate appearances in 2013, and owns a career .572 OPS over parts of six seasons in the major leagues.
