White Sox sign P Felipe Paulino to $1.75 million deal
Right-hander Felipe Paulino and the Chicago White Sox have agreed to a $1.75 million, one-year contract.
The deal announced Monday includes a $1.5 million option for next season and gives the White Sox a $4 million option for 2015 with a $250,000 buyout.
Paulino has a 13-32 big league record with a 4.93 ERA in 61 starts and 32 relief appearances over five seasons with Houston, Colorado and Kansas City.
