Wil Myers on his infamous hair: 'That was embarrassing'
Wil Myers' hair was the talk of baseball on Monday night, after he accepted his Players Choice American League Outstanding Rookie award with what can only be described as "sick flow."
Myers talked about his hair on Tuesday:
#Rays @wilmyers insists way hair looked on TV last night unintentional: "When I saw it I couldn't believe it. ... That was embarrassing.''

The Tampa Bay Times' Topkin has more on Myers' hair, because it's the offseason, after all. Myers said:
"It didn't look like that when I got there. I don't know what happened, I'm serious. I don't know if it was the lighting, or what. I did not make my hair look like that, I can tell you that right now. When I saw it on there, I couldn't believe it. Seriously, that was embarrassing. And I don't say that much that I get embarrassed, but that was pretty embarrassing.''
We think Myers is being a little too hard on himself. He's young. It happens. Who hasn't accepted an award on television looking like, well, a fool? That's life. You live and learn.
Rays ace David Price said it best: "Big Wil has never heard of a comb. But that's his style, let him be."
Amen.
