Baltimore manager Buck Showalter didn't want to speculate on the severity of Manny Machado's injury after Monday's loss to the Rays.
There is no official word, but watching the footage of Machado's face in agony is evidence that he's beyond day-to-day. The third baseman received an X-ray, but no further information was revealed, reports Britt Ghiroli of MLB.com.
Machado will fly back to Balitmore to get an MRI and further testing done.
