Braves react to bench-clearing episode with Marlins
Jose Fernandez took three slow steps after hitting his first career homer on Wednesday.
"The rookie then remembered he wasn't in high school anymore and that the game demands his respect," he told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
He even apologized to Braves catcher Brian McCann and starter Mike Minor in the hallway. Wait, this sounds a little bit like high school...
The only clear thing about the bench-clearing fiasco at Marlins Park, is that nothing is really very clear.

Analysis: Fernandez capped off a remarkable rookie season and the Braves are still going to the playoffs.
