Sale allowed three runs on nine hits in seven innings against the Twins on Saturday, but he still escaped with the victory.

As good as Sale has been at the front of the White Sox's rotation this season, the Twins have given him a hard time in both of his starts against them, surrendering seven runs and 15 hits in 12 innings. However, he struck out eight (and only walked one) Saturday to bring him into a tie with Justin Masterson for fourth in the AL in strikeouts (175), and his K/9 rate only lags Yu Darvish, Max Scherzer, and Anibal Sanchez.
