Happ will be placed on the bereavement list Tuesday, after tossing seven innings of one-run ball Monday against the Athletics, MLB.com reports.
Happ gave up just three hits, while posting a 6:1 K:BB ratio, which is fairly impressive considering whatever situation is going on away from baseball. Moreover, he progressed nicely from his first start last week following a lengthy stay on the DL due to complications arising from a line drive to the head on May 7. His next start Saturday at Tampa Bay is currently up in the air.
