The Los Angeles Dodgers placed star left-hander Julio Urias on the 15-day injured list with a left hamstring strain, the team announced Saturday.
The move is retroactive to May 19.
Urias is the second Dodgers starter to go down with an injury in the last week. Right-hander Dustin May sustained a flexor pronator strain Wednesday.
The 26-year-old Urias owns a 4.39 ERA with 8.6 K/9 over 55 1/3 innings (10 starts) this season. However, he finished third in NL Cy Young voting in 2022.
Right-hander Wander Suero was recalled to take Urias' spot on the active roster.
