With the second pick in the 2022 MLB Draft, the Arizona Diamondbacks selected superstar prep outfielder Druw Jones, the son of five-time All-Star Andruw Jones.

Jones will receive a signing bonus that's over $8 million, Jon Heyman of the New York Post reports.

Jones bears many resemblances to his father, hitting from the right side while providing elite outfield defense and plus pop. He could also wind up being a better threat on the bases than his father, potentially even pushing for a 30-30 season one day.

The 18-year-old helped lead his high school to a state title while winning Georgia's high school player of the year award. He's expected to stick in center field but is also said to have the athleticism to handle shortstop.
