After crushing a three-run home run during Thursday's 11-9 victory over the Chicago White Sox, Los Angeles Dodgers second baseman Max Muncy took aim at White Sox manager Tony La Russa.

With two outs in the top of the sixth inning, La Russa curiously decided to intentionally walk Trea Turner with two strikes, which brought Muncy up to the plate.

After rounding the bases, cameras caught Muncy uttering some choice words regarding La Russa's decision to walk Turner.

La Russa's decision clearly confused Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman, the White Sox broadcast team, and a fan who let La Russa know his dissatisfaction.

Following the game, La Russa stood by his decision.

"Is there some question about whether that was (a) good move or not?" he said.

"Do you know what (Turner) hits against left-handed pitching with 0-1 or two strikes? Do you know what Muncy hits with two strikes against a left-handed pitcher? Is that really a question? We had an open base and Muncy happened to be the guy behind him and that's a better matchup. That wasn't a tough call."

Muncy acknowledged having a little extra motivation to deliver after Turner's intentional walk.

"I wanted to make them pay. I'll just leave it at that," Muncy said, per SportsNet LA.

Muncy also ripped a two-run double earlier in his first action since returning from the injured list after missing 11 games with an elbow injury.
