Astros reliever Ryan Pressly took aim at home plate umpire Vic Carapazza after he was ejected in the bottom of the ninth inning of Houston's 7-4 victory over the Kansas City Royals on Sunday.

"I guess we're not allowed to pitch inside in the big leagues anymore. … I'm human. I will miss inside," Pressly said following the game, according to the Houston Chronicle's Chandler Rome. "To warn me after something like that and to throw me out after questioning it - you have to be better than that."

Pressly was ejected after throwing a pitch inside to Michael A. Taylor with two outs in the inning.

Pressly explained why he became so angry after Carapazza warned him for the pitch.

"(Carapazza) said he (could) have thrown me out after the first pitch," Pressly said. "I asked him, 'Why would you do that?' He thought I was doing it intentionally. I didn't know he could read my mind."

Astros manager Dusty Baker also wasn't enamored with how the umpires handled the situation.

"They said they're doing their job. I think they're overdoing their job. … They issued a warning, and I said, 'For what?'" Baker said, according to Fox's Mark Berman. "It didn't make any sense."
