Brandon Belt is staying by the Bay, as the longtime San Francisco Giants first baseman will accept the team's one-year, $18.4-million qualifying offer, according to ESPN's Jeff Passan.

Belt can still negotiate a long-term deal with San Francisco. Otherwise, he'll hit free agency again next winter without being attached to draft-pick compensation. Barring any collective bargaining agreement changes, he's not eligible to receive another qualifying offer.

He hit .274/.378/.597 with 29 homers and 59 RBIs in only 381 plate appearances for the Giants last year. Injuries forced him to miss the postseason.

The 33-year-old has spent his entire 11-year career with the Giants, helping them to a pair of World Serie championships and earning an All-Star nod in 2016.

Closer Raisel Iglesias, meanwhile, has rejected the Los Angeles Angels' qualifying offer, according to Passan.

Iglesias will now be tied to draft-pick compensation if he signs elsewhere. The right-hander had until 5:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday to accept or decline the qualifying offer.

The 31-year-old reliever is coming off one of his best seasons in his lone campaign with the Angels, authoring a 2.57 ERA and 2.83 FIP over 70 innings. He tallied 34 saves in 65 appearances.

Prior to that, Iglesias posted a 3.15 ERA and 3.44 FIP over six seasons with the Cincinnati Reds, collecting 106 saves in 274 games.

Iglesias is one of eight relievers to be tendered a qualifying offer in its existence, joining Rafael Soriano, David Robertson, Kenley Jansen, Greg Holland, Wade Davis, Craig Kimbrel, and Will Smith. None accepted their offer.

Qualifying offers have already been rejected by Eduardo Rodriguez and Noah Syndergaard, who have signed new deals with the Detroit Tigers and Angels, respectively.
