Starting Monday, Major League Baseball's season pauses to accommodate All-Star festivities for four days - that is, unless you're a member of the Boston Red Sox or New York Yankees.

The 2021 All-Star break runs until July 15 except for a sole Thursday night game between the AL East rivals, and that's causing at least one player to vocalize his displeasure with the scheduling.

"I guess 28 teams need four days off and two teams don't," Boston's utility man Enrique Hernandez said, according to MassLive's Chris Cotillo. "So, whatever."

All 30 clubs will play their final games of the unofficial first half on Sunday, with the latest game beginning at 4:10 p.m. ET. The league will then enjoy three days off for the Home Run Derby on Monday and Midsummer Classic on Tuesday from 7:30 p.m. ET at Coors Field in Denver. Everyone, including All-Stars, will then have Wednesday off.

Then on Thursday, 28 teams - including their All-Stars - will have off while the Red Sox and Yankees begin a four-game series at 7:08 p.m. ET. New York has Monday, July 19 off, while the next day off for Boston isn't until Aug. 2.
