Cristian Javier might be asked to continue spilling the beans going forward.

Javier dropped coffee on his pants while heading to the bullpen prior to his start against the Seattle Mariners on Tuesday night. With limited time to get ramped up for the game, the Houston Astros right-hander decided to forego a wardrobe change and make the start while wearing the stained uniform.

Javier proceeded to shut out the Mariners over seven innings, allowing two hits and three walks while striking out six. The career-high 107-pitch outing lowered the 24-year-old's season ERA to a sterling 0.87.

"Maybe next time he pitches, he'll spill coffee on himself again," Astros manager Dusty Baker said postgame, according to Brian McTaggart of MLB.com.

The Astros' bullpen finished off the Mariners easily over the final two innings for the 2-0 shutout victory. Brooks Raley and Ryan Pressly combined to strike out three batters without allowing a hit.

It looks like the Mariners could use some pep in their step next time.
