2020 Gold Glove winners: Arenado secures 8th straight, Mookie wins 5th
The 2020 Gold Glove Award winners were announced Tuesday, and Colorado Rockies third baseman Nolan Arenado headlined the list with his eighth straight honor.
The 29-year-old has received a Gold Glove nod after every season since breaking into the majors in 2013.
Kansas City Royals left fielder Alex Gordon, who retired after the 2020 campaign, also won his eighth.
Mookie Betts, meanwhile, secured his fifth award in his first full season with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Of the 18 Gold Gloves given out, 11 went to first-time winners, including seven in the American League.
