San Diego Padres right-hander Mike Clevinger will start Game 1 of the National League Division Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Tuesday, the team announced.

Clevinger was diagnosed with right elbow posterior impingement on Sept. 25. The 29-year-old didn't pitch in the wild-card series due to the ailment.

Right-hander Dinelson Lamet, however, isn't on the NLDS roster due to a biceps injury.

Clevinger authored a 2.84 ERA in four starts with San Diego following a deadline deal with the Cleveland Indians. Lamet posted a 2.09 ERA with 12.1 strikeouts per nine innings over 12 starts in a breakout 2020 campaign.

Ryan Weathers, who's one of the top pitching prospects in the Padres' minor-league system, will also be available in the NLDS. The team selected the 20-year-old with the seventh overall pick in the 2018 draft.
