The St. Louis Cardinals appear to be on the right track after the team reported no new positive COVID-19 tests on Tuesday, according to MLB Network's Jon Heyman.

The Cardinals need another clean round of testing before they can be released from quarantine, Heyman adds.

The team is currently living in a Milwaukee hotel after a series against the Brewers was postponed following an outbreak that affected seven Cardinals players and six staff members.

If testing goes well, the Cardinals could continue their season against the Chicago Cubs in St. Louis on Friday after their four-game series against the Detroit Tigers was also postponed.

The Cardinals are the second team to have a COVID-19 outbreak infect their team during the 2020 campaign.

The Miami Marlins, who had 21 members of their organization test positive for COVID-19 over the past week-and-a-half, will return to action Tuesday in Baltimore against the Orioles.
