Reds' Bauer lobbies for Manfred's job with custom shirt
Cincinnati Reds right-hander Trevor Bauer stepped off the mound after Sunday's game and donned a special T-shirt for postgame interviews.
It read: "Bauer for commissioner."

The outspoken hurler has been a vocal critic of MLB commissioner Rob Manfred during the COVID-19 pandemic. He ripped Manfred on Twitter on Saturday after the commissioner made comments blaming players for recent outbreaks.

Bauer threw seven shutout innings with seven strikeouts in the second half of a doubleheader against the Detroit Tigers on Sunday; he technically threw a complete game after MLB implemented seven-inning contests for twin bills this season.
