Free-agent right-hander Matt Harvey is looking for opportunities a long way from home.
Teams from the Korean Baseball Organization have been in touch with Harvey's representatives at Boras Corporation, according to Joel Sherman of the New York Post.
Harvey, who is throwing regular bullpens to stay in game shape, went 3-5 with a 7.09 ERA and 1.54 WHIP in 12 starts with the Los Angeles Angels in 2019. He was released in late July and later signed with the Oakland Athletics, but he never cracked the major-league roster.
The former New York Mets All-Star began his career in grand fashion, going 25-18 with a 2.53 ERA over his first 65 starts. However, injuries - including thoracic outlet syndrome - have hampered his results in recent years.
