A-Rod supports protesters: 'Don't sit back and be silent'
Alex Rodriguez issued a statement Sunday in support of peaceful protests as demonstrations against police brutality continue across the country following the death of George Floyd.
"Don't do it. Don't turn your back on racism," said the three-time MVP, piggybacking on Nike's "Don't Do It" campaign. "Don't sit back and be silent. Don't think you can’t be part of the change.
"My heart is breaking right now. So many people are hurting. We all need to speak up and spread love. Don't sit and watch. Do something."
