The Toronto Blue Jays won their second consecutive championship in 1993 on the back of one of the most exciting moments imaginable. Joe Carter cemented his place in Blue Jays history by drilling a three-run, walk-off homer off Philadelphia Phillies closer Mitch Williams in Game 6 of the Fall Classic.

The Phillies had taken a one-run lead after putting up a five-spot in the top of the seventh inning, and had Williams preserved the slight advantage, it would have forced a Game 7.
