For the first time ever, Major League Baseball will elect an All-MLB Team for the 2019 season.
Fan voting, which opened Monday and runs through Dec. 3 at 5 p.m. ET, will make up 50% of the decision, with the other half coming from a panel of experts, according to Anthony Castrovince of MLB.com.
Fans may cast a ballot once every 24 hours until voting closes, with the winners being declared Dec. 10 during the Winter Meetings in San Diego. An All-MLB second team will also be announced.
The Houston Astros lead all clubs with 10 total candidates, having at least one player eligible at every position other than shortstop.
