New York Mets ace Jacob deGrom did it all on Friday night against the Atlanta Braves.

The right-hander struck out 13 batters over seven innings, and he also hit a game-tying solo home run. It was the second time this season he's recorded 13-plus strikeouts while also hitting a homer.

Dating back to 1893, no other pitcher has accomplished that feat more than once, according to ESPN Stats and Info.

During one stretch of dominance on Friday, deGrom struck out eight straight opponents while also notching his 200th strikeout of the campaign. He's now tied for second place on the Mets' all-time list of 200-plus strikeout seasons.

After leaving with the game tied, he'll be saddled with a no-decision. DeGrom is now 8-7 with a 2.56 ERA and 207 strikeouts over 162 innings this season.
