The Houston Astros and Washington Nationals have both announced their probable starters for Games 1 and 2 of the World Series, set to take place on Tuesday and Wednesday at Minute Maid Park.

Game Nationals Astros
1 Max Scherzer Gerrit Cole
2 Stephen Strasburg Justin Verlander

Astros manager AJ Hinch announced Monday that Cole will start Game 1 while Verlander takes the hill for the second contest. Zack Greinke will get the ball for Game 3 in the National League park, where he'll be able to hit.

Meanwhile, Nationals manager Davey Martinez announced only his first two starters, tabbing Scherzer and Strasburg, respectively. Patrick Corbin is the likely choice for Game 3, but the Washington skipper wouldn't rule out using the lefty out of the bullpen early in the series, according to Jesse Dougherty of the Washington Post.

If Corbin doesn't start Game 3, Anibal Sanchez would likely get the nod. He owns a sterling 0.71 ERA over 12 2/3 innings in his two starts this postseason.
