Yankees' Stanton lands back on IL with right knee sprain
The New York Yankees have placed outfielder Giancarlo Stanton back on the 10-day injured list due to a sprained right knee, the team announced on Wednesday.
Outfielder Mike Tauchman has been recalled to replace Stanton for this weekend's London series against the Boston Red Sox.
Stanton suffered the injury during Tuesday's win over the Toronto Blue Jays. It was originally diagnosed as a right knee contusion. An MRI following the game didn't reveal a new injury, and another IL stint wasn't anticipated.

The four-time All-Star will be re-evaluated in 10 days, manager Aaron Boone said, according to Lindsey Adler of The Athletic.
It's been a hard-luck season for the slugger, with Stanton appearing in just nine games due to various injuries. He first landed on the IL in late March with a biceps strain, and then shoulder and calf injuries kept him sidelined.
In six contests since his activation in late June, Stanton was 7-for-23 (.304 batting average) with one home run and seven RBIs.
